Insects and Art

I found this project by artist Huber Duprat beautiful and conceptually interesting. The caddis larvae builds a sheath from available materials. He limited their materials to precious metal and stones.
I found a lot to think and write about this on Body Impolitic.  (Also lots more photos of the sheaths.)
