Boxes are packed in that intricate way that lets me bring everything I need under the plane ans still satisfies the air line and the TSA regs. It's a good thing I like figuring out this kind of precision packing or it would probably drive me crazy when the rules keep changing.
I'm bringing two new archival digital prints of Ainu activists that I took in an Ainu house in Hokkaido for Women of Japan in my photography portfolio.
The finished emerald earrings are making me very happy. Set some garnets in earrings and polished a raven as my absolutely final jewelry work. Just packed up a pearl and an opal mosaic ring that I sized for folks from Norwescon. Tomorrow is post office, trip food and other errands. And finally removing the killer avocado leaves so I still have flowers when I get back.
I'm actually getting sleepy (rather early for me) so I'll say goodnight.
Looking forward to Wiscon a lot.
